Scoliosis
Scoliosis is a pathological condition. When one or more sections of the spine are curved sideways, it can gradually worsen, affecting not only the spine, thorax, ribs, and pelvis, but also the heart and lung function in severe cases, and even the spinal cord, causing paraplegia. Severe scoliosis requires surgical correction, while mild scoliosis can be prevented or reduced through guided physical therapy, electrical stimulation therapy, traction therapy, and especially brace therapy.
