Progressive hypertrophic interstitial neuritis
Progressive hypertrophic interstitial neuritis is a rare hereditary peripheral nerve disease. Hereditary peripheral neuropathies are a group of diseases caused by genetic factors and characterized by peripheral nerve damage. Progressive hypertrophic interstitial neuritis is an autosomal recessive hereditary disease. The main manifestations are hypertrophy of nerve trunks, tenderness, distal movement of the limbs, sensory impairment, cerebellar symptoms, scoliosis and arched feet.
