Jaw cyst
Jaw cyst refers to a cystic tumor containing fluid that appears in the jaw. It gradually increases in size and causes the jaw to expand and be destroyed. According to the cause of the disease, it can be divided into two categories: odontogenic and non-odontogenic. Odontogenic cysts are cysts that evolve from odontogenic tissue or teeth; non-odontogenic cysts can be developed and formed by the epithelium remaining in the jaw during embryonic development, such as facial fissure cysts, or extravasated cysts caused by injury and aneurysmal bone cysts.
