Pyometra
Intrauterine pyometra means pus accumulation in the uterine cavity. When suffering from acute or chronic endometritis, the cervix is blocked, drainage is poor, and secretions are retained in the uterus, which may lead to intrauterine pyometra. Intrauterine pyometra is not common and is easily ignored or misdiagnosed. It is more common in elderly women or patients with endometrial cancer and after intrauterine radiotherapy and cervical and intrauterine surgery.
