Endometrial stromal sarcoma
Endometrial stromal sarcoma (ESS) is a tumor derived from endometrial stromal cells. According to the histological and clinical characteristics of the tumor, it is divided into two categories, namely low-grade endometrial stromal sarcoma (LGESS) and high-grade endometrial stromal sarcoma (HGESS). Low-grade endometrial stromal sarcoma, formerly known as endolymphaticstromal endometriosis and endolymphatic stromal myosis, accounts for about 80%, with slow progression and good prognosis. High-grade endometrial stromal sarcoma is highly malignant, progresses rapidly, is prone to invasion and metastasis, and has a poor prognosis. The pathological characteristics of the two are also different.
