Malignant mesothelioma
Diffuse pleural mesothelioma, formerly known as malignant mesothelioma, is a slowly fatal tumor. Although the incidence is not high, it is still more common than localized pleural mesothelioma and is the most common type of primary pleural tumor. The clinical manifestations are related to the invasive behavior, and it usually locally invades the pleural cavity and surrounding structures.
