Sebaceous gland carcinoma
Sebaceous carcinoma is a rare malignant tumor that originates from sebaceous gland cells. It is rare for a cancer to actually occur in the sebaceous glands, but it is more common for a cancer to occur in the Meibom glands (a special type of sebaceous gland). This disease is more common in elderly male patients, and is more likely to occur in the eyelids and scalp.
