Summer fever in children
Summer fever, also known as summer heat syndrome, is a febrile disease unique to infants and young children. Clinically, it is characterized by long-term fever, thirst, polydipsia, polyuria, and sweat retention. The onset is closely related to hot weather. Fever starts in midsummer and can last for 1 to 3 months. It is more common in weak children aged 6 months to 3 years.
