Intracranial hemorrhage in children
Intracranial hemorrhage (ICH), also known as hemorrhagic cerebrovascular disease or hemorrhagic stroke, is caused by rupture of cerebral blood vessels, which causes blood to overflow into the cranial cavity. Depending on the location of bleeding, ICH can be divided into cerebral hemorrhage, subarachnoid hemorrhage, and subdural hemorrhage. Regardless of the cause of ICH in children, the clinical manifestations are quite similar, but the prognosis varies greatly depending on the cause, and whether the diagnosis and treatment are timely is also a key factor that directly affects the prognosis.
