Eczematoid carcinoma, also known as Paget's disease, is a special type of cancer that clinically presents as eczematoid skin lesions and pathologically features large, lightly stained abnormal cells (Paget's cells) in the epidermis. According to the different sites of onset, it can be divided into breast Paget's disease and extramammary Paget's disease. The former occurs in the nipple and areola, while the latter is common in the distribution area of apocrine sweat glands, such as the vulva, male genitals, anus, cerumen glands and ciliary glands. Mastitis in traditional Chinese medicine is similar to this disease. It is believed that it is caused by the seven emotions, liver depression, stomach heat, spleen dysfunction, endogenous dampness and heat, and condensation and blocking of the skin.
