This product is a piperazine calcium channel antagonist, which can prevent calcium influx into vascular smooth muscle, cause vasodilation and improve cerebral and coronary circulation, especially for cerebral blood vessels. This product can inhibit phosphodiesterase, prevent cAMP from decomposing into inactive 5′-AMP, thereby increasing the concentration of cAMP in cells, inhibiting the release of various biologically active substances such as histamine, 5-hydroxytryptamine, bradykinin, and also inhibiting the activation of complement C4. The lethal dose for humans is 100-500 mg/kg, and the LD50 (oral administration to mice and rats) is greater than 1g/kg.
