This product is mainly used for: severe acute esophageal varicose bleeding; severe acute gastric or duodenal ulcer bleeding, or complicated by acute erosive gastritis or hemorrhagic gastritis; prevention and treatment of complications after pancreatic surgery; adjuvant treatment of pancreatic, biliary and intestinal fistulas; adjuvant treatment of diabetic ketoacidosis.

Intravenous administration (intravenous injection or intravenous drip). Administer via slow impact injection (3-5 minutes) of 0.25 mg or via continuous intravenous drip at a rate of 0.25 mg per hour (generally 0.0035 mg per kilogram of body weight per hour). Before use, dissolve each lyophilized agent in 1 ml of normal saline solution. This product can prolong the sleep time caused by cyclohexene barbiturate and intensify the effect of pentylentetrazolyl, so it should not be used simultaneously with such drugs or drugs that produce the same effect. Since the interaction between somatostatin and other drugs has not been established, it is recommended that it should be administered alone.
