Cyclosporine Soft Capsules
Function and Efficacy
Not yet clear.
Ingredients
The main ingredient of this product is ciclosporin, and its chemical name is: cyclo(E)-(2S,3R,4R)-3-hydroxy-4-methyl-2-(methylamino-6-octenyl-L-α-aminobutyryl-N-methylglycyl-N-methyl-L-leucyl-L-valyl-N-methyl-L-leucyl-L-alanyl-D-alanyl-N-methyl-L-leucyl-N-methyl-L-valyl. Molecular formula C62H111N11O12 molecular weight 1202.625
Appearance
This product is a soft capsule, the contents of which are yellow or light yellow-brown clear liquid.
Indication
Organ transplantation, bone marrow transplantation, autoimmune diseases such as endogenous uveitis, rheumatoid arthritis, atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, etc.; nephrotic syndrome.
Usage and Dosage
Except for some cases where intravenous infusion of sanoflagellamine concentrate is required, oral neosanoflagellamine treatment is recommended for most cases. Neosanoflagellamine is absorbed faster than standard sanoflagellamine oral solution (mean peak time is 1 hour earlier, mean peak concentration is increased by 59%), and its bioavailability (AUC) is increased by an average of 29% in renal transplant patients receiving maintenance doses. In patients with extremely poor oral absorption of standard sanoflagellamine (especially those taking large oral doses), the increase in cyclosporine bioavailability they obtain after converting to an equal amount of neosanoflagellamine may exceed 100%. The total daily dose of neosanoflagellamine should be taken twice (morning and evening).
Adverse Reactions
Not yet clear.
Precautions
Allergic to cyclosporine and any of its excipients. (See Ingredients and Precautions) The following are additional contraindications for non-transplant indications: Patients with renal insufficiency other than nephrotic syndrome, who present with a moderate increase in pre-drug serum creatinine values related to the condition (up to 200 micromol/L for adults and 140 micromol/L for children), so this product is allowed to be used with caution to alleviate the condition. Uncontrolled hypertension Uncontrolled infection Any malignancy other than skin cancer or precancerous changes (see psoriasis and skin tumors in Dosage/Usage and Adverse Reactions).
