Calcium Hydrogen Phosphate Chewable Tablets

Vitamin D2 is an essential substance for human growth and development, especially for fetuses and infants. Vitamin D2 participates in calcium and phosphorus metabolism, promotes their absorption, and plays an important role in bone formation. Calcium plays an important role in participating in the formation of human bones, reconstruction of bone tissue, muscle contraction, nerve transmission, coagulation mechanism and maintaining capillary permeability.

This product is a compound preparation. Each tablet contains 2500 units of vitamin D and 150 mg of calcium hydrogen phosphate (equivalent to 36 mg of calcium).

Used to prevent and treat calcium deficiency diseases such as osteoporosis, tetany, bone dysplasia, rickets, and as calcium supplement for children, pregnant and lactating women, menopausal women, and the elderly.

Oral administration: chew and swallow. Adults take 3 to 6 tablets at a time, 3 times a day. Take after meals.

Occasionally, stomach discomfort and constipation may occur.

It is contraindicated in patients with hypercalcemia, hypercalciuria, calcium-containing kidney stones, or a history of kidney stones.

1 This product should not be used in combination with digitalis drugs. 2 Drinking large amounts of alcoholic and caffeinated beverages and smoking large amounts of cigarettes will inhibit the absorption of calcium. 3 Eating large amounts of fiber-rich foods can inhibit the absorption of calcium, because calcium combines with cellulose to form compounds that are not easily absorbed. 4 This product is used in combination with phenytoin sodium and tetracyclines, and the absorption of both is reduced. 5 Vitamin D, birth control pills, and estrogen can increase calcium absorption. 6 When aluminum-containing antacids are taken with this product, aluminum absorption increases. 7 When this product is used in combination with thiazide diuretics, hypercalcemia is likely to occur (due to increased renal tubular weight of calcium).
