Ciprofibrate Tablets
Function and Efficacy
This product is a lipid-lowering drug. Its lipid-lowering effect is stronger than that of fenofibrate. Using 1/4 to 1/2 dose of fenofibrate can reduce blood cholesterol and triglycerides, and reduce the low-density part VLDL and LDL that cause atherosclerosis. This reduction is caused by the inhibition of cholesterol biosynthesis in the liver; at the same time, it can increase the protective cholesterol HDL. These two effects help to significantly change the distribution of blood cholesterol and greatly reduce the excessively high (VLDL + LDL)/HDL in atherosclerosis.
