Function and Efficacy
1. Expectorant effect: The platycodon saponins contained in this product can increase the secretion of respiratory mucus and promote the discharge of bronchial mucosal fluid. At the same time, this product can stimulate the nerve endings of the gastric mucosa, reflexively causing an increase in the secretion of bronchial mucous glands, making the sputum dilute and easier to cough up. 2. Antitussive effect: After oral administration, this product can cover the inflamed pharyngeal mucosa, reduce its stimulation, and relax the bronchial smooth muscle, playing an antitussive effect. 3. Anti-inflammatory effect: This product contains glycyrrhizin and glycyrrhetinic acid, which can inhibit capillary hyperpermeability, resist histamine or reduce the responsiveness of cells to stimulation. This product has an inhibitory effect on carrageenan-induced plantar edema in rats, cotton ball granuloma in rats, formaldehyde edema, and subcutaneous granuloma inflammation.

Appearance
This product is a reddish brown translucent viscous liquid with a sweet taste.
Usage and Dosage
Oral administration: 5 ml once for children aged 2 to 5 years, reduce the dosage as appropriate for children under 2 years old, 5 to 10 ml once for children over 5 years old, 3 to 4 times a day.
