Function and Efficacy
This product is a quinolone antibacterial drug, which has strong antibacterial effect on Gram-negative bacteria, including Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Proteus, Salmonella typhi, Salmonella paratyphi, Shigella, Enterobacter cloacae, Enterobacter aerogenes, Citrobacter, Serratia marcescens, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Neisseria meningitidis, Haemophilus influenzae, Moracata, Legionella pneumophila, Neisseria gonorrhoeae, etc. It also has moderate antibacterial effect on Gram-positive cocci such as Staphylococcus and hemolytic Streptococcus. The mechanism of action of this product is to inhibit the bacterial DNA gyrase and thus kill the bacteria.

Indication
It can be used for respiratory system infections such as acute bronchitis, acute exacerbation of chronic bronchitis and pneumonia caused by bacteria sensitive to this product; urogenital system infections such as cystitis, pyelonephritis, prostatitis, epididymitis, gonorrhea Neisseria urethritis; digestive system infections such as typhoid Salmonella infection and bacterial dysentery; skin and soft tissue infections, bone infections, abdominal infections and pelvic infections, etc.
Usage and Dosage
Inject slowly by intravenous drip in a dark place, 0.2-0.4 g at a time, once a day.
Adverse Reactions
1. Gastrointestinal reactions are relatively common and may manifest as abdominal discomfort or pain, diarrhea, nausea and vomiting, and loss of appetite. 2. Central nervous system reactions may include dizziness, headache, excitement, drowsiness or insomnia. 3. Allergic reactions include rash, skin itching, and occasionally exudative erythema multiforme and angioneurotic edema. A small number of patients have photosensitivity reactions. 4. A small number of patients may have increased blood aminotransferase and blood urea nitrogen and decreased peripheral white blood cells, which are mostly mild and transient. 5. Occasionally, 5.1 Epileptic seizures, mental abnormalities, irritability, confusion, hallucinations, and tremors may occur. 5.2 Manifestations of interstitial nephritis such as hematuria, fever, and rash. 5.3 Crystalluria, more common when used in high doses. 5.4 Joint pain. 5.5 Phlebitis.
Precautions
1. It is contraindicated for those who are allergic to this product or quinolones; 2. It is contraindicated for pregnant women, lactating women and patients under 18 years old.
Special Population Medication
Precautions for children: 1. Fluoroquinolones can cause permanent damage to the cartilage of the weight-bearing joints of dogs, leading to lameness, and can also cause arthritis in several other underage animals, so they are contraindicated for patients under 18 years old. 2. In infections caused by multidrug-resistant bacteria, when the bacteria are only sensitive to fluoroquinolones, this product can only be used in children after weighing the pros and cons. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: Precautions for pregnant and lactating women. Precautions for the elderly: Elderly patients have decreased renal function, and the dosage should be reduced as appropriate.
Drug Interactions
1. The aluminum and magnesium contained in didanosine (DDI) preparations can chelate with fluoroquinolones and should not be used together. 2. Urine alkalinizers can reduce the solubility of this product in urine, leading to crystalluria and nephrotoxicity. 3. Probenecid can delay the excretion of this product, increase the blood concentration of this product and produce toxicity.
