Gastrodin injection

1 Pharmacology: Pharmacological experiments show that gastrodin can restore the imbalance between the excitation and inhibition processes of the cerebral cortex, and produce central inhibitory effects such as sedation, hypnosis and analgesia. 2 Toxicology: Acute toxicity experiment: Mice were orally or intravenously injected with gastrodin at a dose of 5g/kg, and observed for 3 days, without poisoning or death. Subacute toxicity experiment: After 4 to 6 days of administration to dogs and mice, blood tests showed no effect on the counts of red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets. Blood tests showed no effect on alanine aminotransferase, non-protein and cholesterol. Tissue sections of the animal's heart, lungs, spleen, liver, kidney, stomach and intestine were microscopically examined, and no cell degeneration was observed. The above results show that gastrodin has no effect on the hematopoietic system, liver, kidney function and blood lipids.

The main ingredient of this product is gastrodin, and its chemical name is: 4-hydroxymethylbenzene-D-pyranoglucoside hemihydrate.

This product is a colorless clear liquid.

It is used for neurasthenia, neurasthenia syndrome and vascular neurosis headache (such as migraine, trigeminal neuralgia, occipital neuralgia, etc.). It can also be used for brain trauma syndrome, vertigo such as Meniere's disease, drug-induced vertigo, traumatic vertigo, sudden deafness, vestibular neuronitis, vertebral basilar artery insufficiency, etc.

Intramuscular injection, 0.2g (1 vial) each time, 1-2 times a day. For organic diseases, the dose can be appropriately increased, or follow the doctor's advice. Intravenous drip, 0.6g (3 vials) each time, once a day, diluted with 5% glucose injection or 0.9% sodium chloride injection 250-500ml before use.

A small number of patients experience symptoms such as dry mouth and nose, dizziness, and stomach discomfort, but these do not affect the patients' acceptance of medication and do not require special treatment.
