Jinbeibote Valsartan Amlodipine Tablets (Ⅰ)

This product is a compound preparation, and its components are: each tablet contains 80 mg of valsartan and 5 mg of amlodipine. Excipients: microcrystalline cellulose, cross-linked polyvinylpyrrolidone, colloidal silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, and film coating premix.

This product is a film-coated tablet, which appears white or off-white after removing the coating.

Treatment of essential hypertension. This product is used for patients whose blood pressure cannot be adequately controlled by monotherapy.

Amlodipine 2.5mg to 10mg once daily is effective for the treatment of hypertension, while the effective dose of valsartan is 80mg to 320mg. In clinical trials of once-daily valsartan amlodipine tablets, 5mg to 10mg of amlodipine and 80mg to 320mg of valsartan were used, and the antihypertensive effect increased with increasing doses. The adverse reactions of valsartan are generally independent of dose; the adverse reactions of amlodipine are both dose-dependent (mainly peripheral edema) and dose-independent, with the former being more common than the latter. Patients whose blood pressure cannot be adequately controlled with monotherapy can switch to this product. Additional therapy: Patients who fail to adequately control their blood pressure with amlodipine monotherapy or valsartan monotherapy can switch to this product for combination therapy. Patients who experience dose-limiting adverse reactions with amlodipine or valsartan monotherapy can switch to this product, using a lower dose of a single drug component combined with another component to achieve blood pressure control. Most of the therapeutic effect is usually achieved within 2 weeks after starting the medication or changing the dose.  Alternative therapy: For the convenience of administration, patients receiving amlodipine and valsartan monotherapy can be treated with the same dose of this product. Both amlodipine and valsartan can be taken with or without food. It is recommended to take this product with water. Hepatic and renal impairment Patients with mild to moderate renal impairment do not need to adjust the dose. Use with caution in patients with severe renal impairment (see [Contraindications]). Patients with liver impairment or biliary obstructive disease should also use this product with caution (see [Precautions]).
