Function and Efficacy

Iron is a component of hemoglobin in red blood cells. When iron is deficient, the amount of hemoglobin synthesized by red blood cells decreases, causing the red blood cells to become smaller and their oxygen-carrying capacity to decrease, resulting in iron-deficiency anemia. Oral administration of this product can supplement iron and correct iron-deficiency anemia.

Indication

Used for iron deficiency anemia caused by various reasons such as chronic blood loss, malnutrition, children's development period, etc.

Usage and Dosage

Oral administration: Adults: 0.2g each time, 3-4 times a day; Children: 0.1g each time, 1-3 times a day.

Adverse Reactions

1 Gastrointestinal adverse reactions may occur, such as nausea, vomiting, upper abdominal pain, and constipation. 2 This product can reduce intestinal motility, cause constipation, and discharge black stools.

Precautions

It is contraindicated for patients with gastric and duodenal ulcers, ulcerative colitis, those who are allergic to iron supplements, and those with non-iron deficiency anemia.

Drug Interactions

It should not be used with antacids such as sodium bicarbonate. Cimetidine and pancreatic enzymes affect the absorption of iron. This product can reduce the absorption of tetracyclines, quinolones, penicillamine and zinc preparations. Taking vitamin C with this product is beneficial to absorption.
