Function and Efficacy
The antibacterial spectrum is similar to that of rifampicin. It has good antibacterial activity against tuberculosis and leprosy. When the dosage is 1/3 of that of rifampicin, similar or higher efficacy can be achieved. It has a good effect on Staphylococcus aureus and has certain antibacterial activity against some Escherichia coli. In addition, it also has an inhibitory effect on Chlamydia trachomatis.

Appearance
This product is a capsule, the contents of which are orange-red crystalline powder, odorless and slightly bitter.
Indication
Suitable for the treatment of pulmonary tuberculosis, leprosy, skin tuberculosis, purulent skin diseases, etc.
Usage and Dosage
Oral: 150 mg per day for adults under 50 kg and the elderly, 200 mg per day for adults over 50 kg, 3 mg/kg to 5 mg/kg per day for children (maximum dose not exceeding 200 mg). Take once in the morning on an empty stomach.
Adverse Reactions
The adverse reactions are milder than those of rifampicin. It is mildly irritating to the gastrointestinal tract, with occasional nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, etc., but has no obvious damage to the kidneys and hematopoietic system.
Precautions
It is contraindicated for those who are allergic to this product.
Special Population Medication
Precautions for children: This product has not been tested and there is no reliable reference. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: Use with caution in pregnant women; the use of the drug in lactating women is not yet clear. Precautions for the elderly: Be aware of liver and kidney toxicity.
Drug Interactions
1. This product has synergistic effects with ethambutol, thiosemicarbazide, isoniazid, streptomycin, p-aminosalicylic acid, tetracycline and sulfonamides without cross-resistance. 2. This product has cross-resistance with rifampicin.
