Function and Efficacy
This product is a non-addictive antitussive drug that can inhibit the cough center, inhibit the pulmonary-vagus nerve reflex caused by lung and pleural stretch receptors, and relax bronchial smooth muscles. That is, it has both central and peripheral antitussive mechanisms.
Ingredients
The main ingredient of this product is propenidine cypermethrin, and its chemical name is 1-[2-(2-benzylphenoxy)-1-methylethyl]piperidine phosphate.
Appearance
This product is white or off-white tablets.
Indication
Antitussive drugs. Used to treat cough caused by acute and chronic bronchitis and various irritants.
Usage and Dosage
Dissolve in warm water and take orally. Adults take 2-4 tablets (20-40 mg) at a time, 3 times a day, or as directed by a doctor.
Adverse Reactions
After taking the medicine, there may be a transient numbness in the mouth and throat. In addition, there are other adverse reactions such as fatigue, dizziness, upper abdominal discomfort and rash.
