Function and Efficacy

This product is a peptide neurotrophic drug unique to the brain. It can act on the central nervous system in various ways, regulate and improve neuronal metabolism, promote the formation of sudden changes, induce neuronal differentiation, and further protect nerve cells from various ischemic and neurotoxin damage. This product can pass through the blood-brain barrier, promote the synthesis of brain proteins, affect the respiratory chain, have anti-hypoxia protection ability, and improve brain energy metabolism. Activate adenylate cyclase and catalyze other hormone systems. Provide neurotransmitters, peptide hormones and coenzyme precursors.

Ingredients

This product is a sterile preparation extracted, separated and refined from pig brain tissue. It contains about 16 kinds of free amino acids and a small amount of peptides.

Appearance

This product is a light yellow clear liquid.

Indication

Used to improve symptoms of craniocerebral trauma, sequelae of cerebrovascular disease accompanied by memory loss and attention disorder.

Usage and Dosage

It is best to inject continuously for each course of treatment. The length of the course and dosage should be determined based on the patient's age and condition. No more than 2 ml should be injected subcutaneously, and no more than 5 ml should be injected intramuscularly. Generally, 10 ml is used, diluted in 250 ml of normal saline and slowly dripped once a day. It takes about 60-120 minutes to drip, and it can be used continuously for 10-14 days as a course of treatment.

Adverse Reactions

This product is generally well tolerated. In vivo and in vitro tests and toxicity tests have shown no potential teratogenic, sensitizing or carcinogenic effects. Injection too quickly may cause a mild sense of heat, and in very rare cases, shivering and mild fever may occur, which are mostly related to the patient's physical constitution. So far, no cases of persistent adverse reactions or life-threatening conditions have been reported after taking the drug. When used in large doses, injection too quickly may cause fever in a few cases.

Precautions

The following conditions are contraindicated. 1. Those who are allergic to any of the ingredients of this drug. 2. Those with status epilepticus. 3. Those with a grand mal seizure, in which case the drug may increase the frequency of seizures. 4. Those with severe renal impairment.

Special Population Medication

Precautions for children: Not clear. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: Contraindicated for pregnant women, use with caution for lactating women. Precautions for the elderly: If excessive urine volume occurs during use of this product and it cannot be relieved within 2 to 3 days, the drug should be discontinued.

Drug Interactions

1. Protein hydrolysate injection cannot be infused in the same bottle as amino acid injection. When amino acid infusion is used at the same time, attention should be paid to the possible imbalance of amino acids. 2. Co-treatment with antidepressants may cause adverse interactions and lead to inappropriate mental stress. In this case, it is recommended to reduce the dose of antidepressants.

Storage

Keep tightly closed in a cool, dark place.
