Function and Efficacy
The results of pharmacodynamic tests showed that this product had a certain inhibitory effect on mouse swelling caused by croton oil, rat plantar swelling caused by chondrus, and rat cotton ball granuloma; it had a certain analgesic effect on mice with pain induced by acetic acid and mice with pain induced by the hot plate method; it had a certain antipyretic effect on rabbits with bacterial endotoxin fever; it could counteract the immunosuppression of mice caused by cyclophosphamide; it had a certain inhibitory effect on delayed-type skin hypersensitivity reaction of mice caused by 2,4-dinitrochlorobenzene; and it had a certain therapeutic effect on oral ulcers in rabbits caused by acetic acid.
Ingredients
Coptis chinensis, bitter herbs, rehmannia root, isatis root, lithospermum officinale, honeysuckle, loblolly leaf, dried snake gall, lily, and asarum.
Appearance
This product is a film-coated special-shaped tablet, which appears brown-black after removing the film coating; it has a light fragrance and a bitter taste.
Usage and Dosage
Oral administration: 4 tablets at a time, 3 times a day; the course of treatment is 5 days.
Adverse Reactions
Mild and moderate gastric discomfort disappeared with continued medication and was judged to be possibly related to the trial drug.
