1. Levothyroxine sodium will increase the effect of anticoagulants; 2. Levothyroxine sodium will increase the level of phenytoin sodium in the blood; 3. Anticonvulsants such as carbamazepine and phenytoin sodium accelerate the metabolism of levothyroxine sodium and can replace thyroxine from plasma proteins; 4. This product is used together with cardiac glycosides, and the dosage of cardiac glycosides must be adjusted accordingly; 5. Levothyroxine sodium will also increase the effect of sympathomimetic drugs; 6. Levothyroxine sodium increases the sensitivity of catecholamine receptors, thereby increasing the response of tricyclic antidepressants; 7. Cholestyramine reduces the absorption of levothyroxine sodium, and the use of oral contraceptives at the same time requires an increase in the dosage of levothyroxine sodium.

The main ingredient of this product is levothyroxine sodium.

It is suitable for long-term replacement therapy of congenital hypothyroidism (cretinism) and hypothyroidism caused by various reasons in children and adults. It can also be used for simple goiter, chronic lymphocytic thyroiditis, and suppression (and replacement) therapy after thyroid cancer surgery. It can sometimes be used as an adjuvant therapy for hyperthyroidism and can also be used for thyroid suppression tests.

For adults, the initial daily dose is 25-100 μg, which can be increased by 25-50 μg every 2-4 weeks until normal metabolism is maintained. The general maintenance dose is 50-200 μg/day. For elderly patients or patients with cardiovascular diseases, the initial dose is 12.5-25 μg, which can be increased every 3-4 weeks, with each increase of 12.5-25 μg. After administration, the patient should be closely observed for increased heart rate, arrhythmia, and changes in blood pressure. If necessary, the dose should be temporarily increased or reduced. For newborns and children with hypothyroidism or cretinism, refer to the following table for dosage: Recommended dosage (daily): 0-6 months 25-50 micrograms (8-10 micrograms/kg body weight) 7-12 months 50-70 micrograms (6-8 micrograms/kg body weight) 2-5 years old 75-100 micrograms (5-6 micrograms/kg body weight) 6-12 years old 100-150 micrograms (4-5 micrograms/kg body weight) 12 years old and above 150-200 micrograms (2-3 micrograms/kg body weight) or follow the doctor's advice. Increase the dose (12.5 μg-25 μg) every 2-4 weeks until the clinical manifestations are completely normal. Normal pulse rate or normal stool is a good clinical observation indicator.

Symptoms of overdose include angina pectoris, arrhythmia, palpitations, diarrhea, vomiting, tremor, excitement, headache, restlessness, insomnia, sweating, hot flashes, weight loss, skeletal muscle cramps, etc. These symptoms usually disappear after reducing the dosage or stopping the drug for a few days.

It is contraindicated for patients with non-hypothyroid heart failure and tachyarrhythmia, and for patients who are allergic to the drug.

Keep away from light and store in a sealed container below 25℃.
