Indication
It has the effect of dilating bronchi and coronary arteries, and has a diuretic effect. It is stable in gastric juice. Its antiasthmatic effect is similar to that of aminophylline, and it is especially suitable for asthma patients with tachycardia. It is prepared by condensing theophylline with monochloropropanediol in an alkaline solution.
