Gadobenate dimeglumine injection
Indication
Gadobenate dimeglumine is a paramagnetic contrast agent indicated for diagnostic magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of the liver and central nervous system. Liver: Indicated for the detection of focal liver lesions in patients with known or suspected primary liver cancer (e.g., hepatocellular carcinoma) or metastatic cancer. Central nervous system: Gadobenate dimeglumine is also indicated for enhanced MRI of the brain and spine, which can enhance the detection of lesions and provide more diagnostic information than unenhanced MRI images.
Precautions
It is contraindicated for patients who are allergic to gadobenate dimeglumine and other ingredients in the preparation (such as benzyl alcohol).
