Naphazoline hydrochloride nasal drops

Naphthazoline hydrochloride is an imidazoline derivative that directly stimulates vascular α1 receptors and causes vasoconstriction, thereby alleviating congestion and edema caused by inflammation.

This product is a colorless clear liquid.

Used for allergic and inflammatory nasal congestion, acute and chronic rhinitis.

Nasal drops. For adults only, 2-3 drops in each nostril at a time.

1. Using the medicine too frequently can cause rebound nasal congestion, and long-term use can cause drug-induced rhinitis. 2. A few people experience mild burning sensation, tingling sensation, dry nasal mucosa, headache, dizziness, and increased heart rate. 3. Allergic reactions are rare.

It is contraindicated for patients with atrophic rhinitis and dry nasal cavity.

Precautions for children: 0.1% solution of this product was used as nose drops for newborns, which has caused poisoning. Newborns, children, infants and young children should use 0.05% (i.e. 1:2000) or more diluted solution. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: Not yet clear. Precautions for the elderly: Not yet clear.
