Sulfadiazine ointment

Sulfadiazine is a broad-spectrum antibiotic, similar in structure to para-aminobenzoic acid (PABA). It can compete with PABA on dihydrofolate synthase in bacteria, thereby preventing PABA from being used as a raw material to synthesize folic acid required by bacteria, and reducing the amount of metabolically active tetrahydrofolate, which is an essential substance for bacteria to synthesize purine, thymidine and deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA), thereby inhibiting the growth and reproduction of bacteria.

This product is a light yellow or yellow ointment.

Suitable for staphylococcal infections and boils.

Apply to the cleaned affected area 1-2 times a day. For large-area infections, use under the guidance of a doctor.

Various adverse reactions may occur after local absorption of this product.
