Zopiclone tablets

The main ingredient of this product is zopiclone. Chemical name: 6-(5-chloropyridin-2-yl)-7-[(4-methylpiperazine-1-yl)carbonyloxy]-5,6-dihydropyrrolo[3,4-b]pyrazin-5-one Molecular weight: C17H17ClN6O3

This product is a film-coated tablet, which appears white or off-white after removing the film coating.

Oral administration, 7.5 mg, taken before bedtime; the elderly should initially take 3.75 mg before bedtime, and 7.5 mg when necessary; for those with impaired liver function, 3.75 mg is appropriate.

It is related to the dose and the sensitivity of the patient. Occasionally, drowsiness, bitter taste in the mouth, dry mouth, muscle weakness, amnesia, and drunkenness may occur. Some people may be abnormally fearful, aggressive, easily irritated, or mentally confused, have headaches, and be weak. Sudden discontinuation of medication after long-term use may cause withdrawal symptoms (which appear faster due to the short half-life of the drug), and there may be mild agitation, anxiety, myalgia, tremor, rebound insomnia and nightmares, nausea and vomiting. Rarely, there may be severe spasms, muscle tremors, and confusion (often secondary to milder symptoms).

It is contraindicated for patients who are allergic to this product, patients with decompensated respiratory insufficiency, myasthenia gravis, and severe sleep apnea syndrome.

Precautions for children: This product should not be used by children under 15 years old. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: Use with caution in pregnant women. Due to the high concentration of this product in breast milk, it should not be used by lactating women. Precautions for the elderly: This experiment has not been conducted and there is no reliable reference literature.

1. Taking it with neuromuscular blockers (tubocurarine, muscle relaxants) or other central nervous system depressants can enhance the sedative effect. 2. Taking it with benzodiazepine anxiolytics and hypnotics can increase the occurrence of withdrawal syndrome.
