Shiduqing Tablets

Pharmacodynamic studies have shown that Shiduqing has a significant antipruritic effect on dextran-induced pruritus in mice; it can significantly increase the itch threshold of histamine-induced pruritus in guinea pigs; it has an antagonistic effect on dimethyl sulfoxide-induced non-immune contact urticaria in guinea pigs; it has a significant inhibitory effect on passive skin allergic reactions in rats; it can inhibit the increase in capillary permeability in rats caused by histamine; and it has a significant inhibitory effect on croton oil-induced ear swelling in mice. Toxicological studies have shown that: 1. Acute toxicity: mice were orally administered with a dose of 18.8/kg for 3 days, with a total dose of 56.4g/kg, which is equivalent to 626.6 times the clinical adult daily dose of 0.9g/kg, and mice did not show toxic reactions. 2. Long-term toxicity: rats were continuously gavaged for 90 days at doses equivalent to 10, 20, and 50 times the clinical adult daily dose (0.09g/kg). Except for the temporary, reversible increase in Cr and B.U.N in the medium and high dose groups, no abnormal pathological phenomena were observed in the rest.

Rehmannia root, Chinese angelica root, salvia miltiorrhiza root, sophora flavescens, cicada shell, scutellaria baicalensis, dittany bark, smilax glabra, and licorice.

This product is a film-coated tablet, which appears brown to yellowish brown after removing the film coating; it tastes slightly bitter.

Oral administration: 3-4 tablets at a time, 3 times a day.
