Vitamin D2 Calcium Fructose Injection

Vitamin D2 must be converted by the liver and kidneys to become biologically active vitamin D3. It plays a role in regulating calcium and phosphorus metabolism. In this conversion process, only a part of vitamin D2 is finally converted into vitamin D3. Therefore, the biological activity of vitamin D2 is far inferior to that of vitamin D3.

This product is a sterilized white translucent emulsion of vitamin D2 and organic calcium agent. The calcium (Ca) content should be 95.0%-105.0% of the labeled amount.

It is suitable for various calcium metabolism disorders caused by vitamin D deficiency, such as osteomalacia and rickets, which are not suitable for oral administration.

Intramuscular or subcutaneous injection. Inject once a day or every other day, 1 ml per day for children, shake well before use.

1. With normal usage and dosage, adverse reactions rarely occur. Gastrointestinal reactions such as loss of appetite and vomiting are occasionally seen. 2. Excessive intake of vitamin D in a short period of time or long-term use of large amounts of vitamin D can lead to severe poisoning reactions. For example, infants and young children taking 200,000 to 400,000 units per day for several weeks or months can cause severe toxic reactions.

1. Contraindicated for patients with calcemia, hypervitaminosis D, hyperphosphatemia and renal rickets. 2. Use with caution in patients with arteriosclerosis, heart failure and hypercholesterolemia. 3. Use with caution in patients with high sensitivity to vitamin D. 4. Use with caution in patients with renal failure.
