Tongxiening Granules

Preclinical pharmacodynamic studies have shown that Tongxiening Granules have a significant antidiarrheal effect on diarrhea in mice caused by senna leaves, a significant analgesic effect on abdominal pain in mice caused by acetic acid, a significant relieving effect on hyperpropulsive function of the small intestine in mice caused by neostigmine, a significant inhibition of the pain response of rats caused by thermal stimulation, and a significant antispasmodic effect on the isolated ileum of rabbits. No obvious toxic and side effects were observed in the acute toxicity test. In the long-term toxicity test, the weight gain of rats was slower than that of the control group, and some hematological and blood biochemical indicators changed slightly; after drug withdrawal, the hematological and blood biochemical indicators recovered, and there was no significant change compared with the control group. No obvious pathological changes were observed in the histological examination of organs in each group.

This product is brown-yellow granules; it tastes sweet and slightly bitter.

Oral administration: 1 bag at a time, 3 times a day.

1. Mild nausea is occasionally seen. 2. In the clinical trial, one patient in the test group had skin paresthesia, which lasted for half a month. It is not yet certain whether it is related to this product.
