Chunxuean Capsules

The main effects are on vaginal epithelial cells, uterus and hemostasis. 1. Effects on vaginal epithelial cells: Non-pregnant healthy mice were castrated and gavaged with 0.288g/10g body weight of Chunxuean after 2-3 weeks of recovery. Changes began to appear on the 8th day after administration, and the keratinization rate of epithelial cells in vaginal smears increased significantly. Mice were killed at different stages after administration to observe the histological images of vaginal epithelium. Mice killed on the 10th day after administration had thickening of the vaginal epithelial layer, increased basal cells and middle cells, and complete or relatively complete epithelial keratinization. Cell mitosis was visible in some sections; mice were killed on the 15th day after administration, and most mice showed vaginal epithelial tissue hyperplasia, but the degree of maturity was low. The middle layer cells were thicker, the cell nuclei of the epithelial surface were larger, showing incomplete differentiation, the keratinized layer on the surface was rare, and some white blood cells could be seen in the interstitium. 2. Effects on the uterus: (1) Mice were gavaged with 0.288g/10g of Chunxuean. The weight of the uterus of castrated mice in the Chunxuean group increased significantly. (2) One day before the experiment, non-pregnant rats were subcutaneously injected with 0.1mg/kg of diethylstilbestrol. The next day, the rat uterus was taken and Chunxuean 0.2ml/15ml of nutrient solution was added. Both increased the excitability of the isolated uterine smooth muscle, increased tension, and increased amplitude, but there was no significant change in frequency. (3) Mice were gavaged with 0.288g/10g of Chunxuean, and killed at different stages. Endometrial sections were taken and observed for changes in the endometrium under a microscope. In the early stage of administration, that is, around the 10th day, the proliferative endometrium appeared, while in the late stage of Chunxuean administration, that is, the 14th-15th day, the endometrium showed changes similar to the effects of progesterone, showing changes in the secretory endometrium. 3. Hemostasis: (1) 0.288g/10g body weight of Chunxuean was gavaged into the ovariectomized mice. On the 13th day after administration, the coagulation time was measured by the slide method. The coagulation time of the administration group was significantly shortened. (2) 0.288g/10g body weight of Chunxuean was gavaged into the ovariectomized mice. On the 16th day after administration, blood was collected from the eye sockets and the whole blood viscosity was measured. There was no significant change in the whole blood viscosity of the mice in the administration group. (3) 1ml of 1:2 Chunxuean solution was perfused into the isolated rabbit ear vein, and a vasoconstriction effect was immediately observed. Compared with before and after administration, the number of drops of liquid flowing through the blood vessels per minute after administration was significantly reduced.

This product is a capsule, the contents of which are yellow-brown powder; it has a pungent smell and tastes slightly sour and bitter.

Oral administration: 4 capsules at a time, 3 times a day, or as directed by your doctor.
