Betamethasone
Indication
It is a highly effective halogenated corticosteroid drug that acts on sugar metabolism and can reduce the pathological changes in the body's tissues caused by damaging stimuli. It has high efficacy, stronger anti-inflammatory effect than dexamethasone, and fewer side effects. It can treat lupus erythematosus, rheumatoid arthritis, and asthma.
Precautions
1. It is contraindicated for patients who are allergic to this product and other steroid hormones; 2. It is contraindicated for patients with severe mental illness (past or present) and epilepsy, active peptic ulcer disease, and recent gastrointestinal anastomosis surgery; 3. It is contraindicated for patients with fractures, trauma repair, corneal ulcers, hyperadrenocortical syndrome, hypertension, and diabetes; 4. It is contraindicated for pregnant and lactating women, and patients with infections that cannot be controlled by antibiotics, such as chickenpox, measles, fungal infections, and severe osteoporosis.
Special Population Medication
Precautions during pregnancy and lactation: Pregnant and lactating women are prohibited from using.
