This product is grayish yellow to brown granules; it has a slight odor, sweet taste, and a slightly fishy and sour taste.

Take with boiled water after meals. 2.5g for children under one year old; 5g for children from one to three years old; 7.5g for children from three to five years old; 10g for children from five to twelve years old; 15g for adults; 3 times a day or as directed by a doctor. One course of treatment is four weeks.

During the medication period, some children may experience darkening of their teeth, which will gradually disappear after stopping the medication. A small number of children may experience temporary loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, and mild diarrhea after taking the medication, which can usually be relieved on their own.

It is contraindicated in patients with non-iron deficiency anemia (such as thalassemia).
