Potassium Magnesium Aspartate Glucose Injection
Function and Efficacy
As a precursor of oxaloacetate in the body, aspartic acid plays an important role in the tricarboxylic acid cycle and participates in the ornithine cycle, combining ammonia and carbon dioxide to form urea. It has a strong affinity for cells and can be used as a carrier of potassium and magnesium ions to help them enter cells, increase the concentration of potassium and magnesium in cells, accelerate the tricarboxylic acid cycle of liver cells, and have a certain effect on improving liver function and reducing serum bilirubin concentration. It is metabolized and excreted from the body through the kidneys.
