This product is a biguanide compound, which plays a bactericidal role by changing the permeability of bacterial cytoplasmic membrane to allow cell contents to leak out. Some Staphylococci, Streptococcus mutans, Streptococcus salivarius, Escherichia coli, Propionibacterium and Candida albicans are sensitive to this product; Streptococcus haemophilus is moderately sensitive; this product has a weak effect on Proteus, Pseudomonas, Klebsiella and Gram-negative cocci.

Chlorhexidine acetate.

This product has a broad spectrum of antibacterial and bactericidal effects. It is suitable for cervical erosion, purulent vaginitis, fungal vaginitis, and also for trichomonas vaginitis.

Wash the vulva first, then insert the suppository deep into the vulva. For cervical erosion, take one suppository per day after menstruation, and use 5-7 suppositories as a course of treatment; for vaginitis, take one suppository per day, and use 3-5 suppositories as a course of treatment.

Some patients may experience a burning sensation after taking the medicine, which disappears when the medicine is stopped.

Contraindicated in patients allergic to chlorhexidine.

This product should not be used together with soap, anionic surfactants, potassium iodide, etc.
