Compound Amiloride Hydrochloride Tablets
Function and Efficacy
Amiloride is a potassium-sparing diuretic that acts on the distal renal tubule, blocks the sodium-potassium exchange mechanism, promotes the excretion of sodium and chloride and reduces the secretion of potassium and hydrogen ions. Its action is independent of aldosterone, and its own natriuretic and antihypertensive activity is weak, but it has a synergistic effect when used in combination with thiazide or loop diuretics.
Ingredients
Each tablet of this product contains 2.5 mg of amiloride hydrochloride and 25 mg of hydrochlorothiazide.
