Absorbent gelatin sponge

It has a large surface area for absorbing water, and the amount of water absorbed can reach more than 30 times the volume of the product. When the whole sponge is applied to the wound surface, it can absorb blood with a blood flow several times greater than its own weight, and make the blood coagulate inside it like a mold. The product itself can be absorbed by antibodies within 4 to 6 weeks, so it can be left in the body cavity or wound cavity. It will not produce excessive scar tissue and adverse fibrosis reaction when in contact with tissue.

This product is a collagen product with a protein content of more than 70%.

This product is white or slightly yellow, light, soft and porous sponge-like, absorbent; it will not break even after heavy rubbing. This product is insoluble in water.

It has a hemostatic effect on wound bleeding and is used to stop wound bleeding.

Wipe away the oozing blood, apply this product to the wound surface immediately with dry gauze, and then apply pressure with dry gauze to stop the bleeding.

Adverse reactions are mild and short-lived at therapeutic doses, and most of the initial side effects disappear after long-term use. Common adverse reactions include dizziness, headache, vomiting, diarrhea, flushing, rash and itching, and rarely angina and liver dysfunction. It is rare for adverse reactions to persist or be intolerable, and they can be eliminated by stopping the drug. In post-marketing experience reports, rare adverse reactions include laryngeal edema, fatigue, discomfort, myalgia, arthritis, nausea, dyspepsia, paresthesia, hepatitis, alopecia, cholelithiasis, palpitations and tachycardia.

1. It has a synergistic effect with aspirin. When used with aspirin, the dose can be reduced to 100-200 mg per day. 2. When this product is used together with dicoumarol anticoagulants, bleeding does not increase or worsen.
