Serrapeptase Enteric-coated Tablets

Function and Efficacy

This product is an oral preparation of proteolytic enzymes produced by Serratia bacteria. It can inhibit the hyperfibrinolytic activity and hyperpermeability of vascular in scalded rats; inhibit the inflammatory swelling of rats caused by certain inflammatory substances; reduce the viscosity of sputum in rabbits with bronchitis, indicating that this product has the effect of reducing swelling and removing phlegm.

Ingredients

The main ingredient of this product is a proteolytic enzyme produced by Serratia.

Appearance

This product is enteric-coated tablets, which appear white after removing the coating.

Indication

Relieve swelling and symptoms caused by: post-surgery or trauma, chronic sinusitis and milk stagnation (breast massage or breast pumping is required at the same time). For difficulty in expectoration due to bronchitis, tuberculosis, bronchial asthma. For difficulty in expectoration after anesthesia.

Usage and Dosage

Oral administration. Adults take 1 tablet 3 times a day after meals. The dosage can be increased or decreased according to age and symptoms.

Adverse Reactions

The following adverse reactions are occasionally seen with this product: 1. Allergic reactions: such as rash, itching, skin flushing, etc.; 2. Gastrointestinal reactions: such as loss of appetite, stomach discomfort, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, etc. 3. Others: such as bleeding symptoms such as nose bleeding and blood in sputum, as well as jaundice, increased glutamic acid oxaloacetic transaminase (AST), glutamic acid pyruvic acid transaminase (ALT), alkaline phosphatase (ALP), γ-glutamic acid pyruvic acid transaminase (γ-GTP), etc.

Drug Interactions

1. The concomitant use of this product with anticoagulants may sometimes enhance the anticoagulant effect. 2. The concomitant use of this product with antibiotics, chemotherapy drugs, and nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs may cause the following reactions: (1) skin mucosal eye syndrome and toxic epidermal necrosis; (2) interstitial pneumonia and eosinophilic pulmonary infiltration syndrome; (3) shock.
