Isosorbide dinitrate spray

The blood pressure-lowering effect of this drug may be enhanced if taken concurrently with antihypertensive drugs, other vasodilators, tricyclic antidepressants and alcohol.

The main ingredient of this product is isosorbide dinitrate.

The maximum amount of this medicine sprayed out each time is 0.09 ml, and each spray contains 1.25 mg of isosorbide dinitrate. The inactive ingredients are glycerol and ethanol.

Used to treat and prevent angina attacks, and as emergency treatment before admission to hospital for patients with acute myocardial infarction combined with left heart failure and pulmonary edema.

When using for the first time, remove the protective cover and press the spray valve several times until an even spray is sprayed out before use. The bottle should be held vertically during use. It can be used immediately after that. However, if it has not been used for a long time (such as more than a few days), it is necessary to press the valve again until an even spray is sprayed out before use. Cover the bottle cap after use. Unless there is a special prescription, it is generally sufficient to spray the EasyShunmai Oral Spray in the mouth 1 to 3 times during an angina attack or before exercise (exercise is expected to precipitate an angina attack), with an interval of 30 seconds each time. Hold your breath when spraying so that the spray is inhaled through the nose. Use 1-3 sprays at the beginning of acute myocardial infarction or acute heart failure. If there is no response within 5 minutes, you can spray once more. If there is no improvement within 10 minutes, you can continue to spray under close blood pressure monitoring. Sensitive patients may experience headache, dizziness, transient rash and nausea, which may disappear within a few days. Some patients may experience lower blood pressure and increased heart rate.

This drug is contraindicated in patients with shock, severe hypotension (systolic 100 mmHg), acute myocardial infarction with low perfusion, and those who are allergic to this product.

Antihypertensive drugs, calcium antagonists, other venodilators, tricyclic antidepressants, neuroleptics or alcohol can enhance the antihypertensive effect of this drug. Concurrent use of dihydroergotamine can increase the blood concentration of dihydroergotamine.
