Appearance
This product is a white ointment.
Indication
As an estrogen supplement, it is suitable for the symptomatic treatment of menopausal-related symptoms such as hot flashes, excessive sweating, vaginal dryness, etc.
Usage and Dosage
For external use, apply 1.5g each time (containing 1.35mg estradiol benzoate or 0.98mg estradiol) on clean skin (such as the inner arms, lower abdomen, waist, buttocks and thighs), once a day, for continuous use on the 1st to 24th day of the lunar calendar each month, and take 4mg of oral medroxyprogesterone tablets daily from the 15th to the 24th day of the lunar calendar.
Adverse Reactions
There may be breast swelling, headache, nipple discharge, local irritation, etc. In addition, after the treatment cycle stops, there may be vaginal bleeding similar to menstruation.
Precautions
It is contraindicated for patients who are allergic to this product or who are suffering from thromboembolic diseases (phlebitis, pulmonary embolism, etc.).

Drug Interactions
1. When used with anticoagulants, estrogen can reduce the anticoagulant effect. If it must be used together, the dosage of the anticoagulant should be adjusted. 2. When used with carbamazepine, phenobarbital, phenytoin sodium, primidone, rifampicin, etc., the effect of estrogen can be reduced. This is due to the induction of liver microsomal enzymes and the acceleration of estrogen metabolism. 3. When used with tricyclic antidepressants, large amounts of estrogen can enhance the adverse reactions of antidepressants and reduce their proper effects. 4. When used with antihypertensive drugs, the antihypertensive effect can be reduced. 5. Reduce the therapeutic effect of tamoxifen. 6. Increase the absorption of calcium.
