Betaxolol hydrochloride eye drops

Function and Efficacy

Pharmacological action: 1. Betaxolol hydrochloride is a cardioselective β1-receptor blocker; 2. Betaxolol hydrochloride does not have a cell membrane stabilizing effect, so it does not affect the sensitivity of the cornea; 3. Betaxolol hydrochloride does not have endogenous sympathomimetic activity; 4. Oral administration of β-blockers to normal people and patients with heart disease will reduce cardiac output. However, for patients with severely impaired myocardial function, β-adrenergic receptor blockers will inhibit the sympathetic nerve excitation that maintains cardiac function; 5. Regardless of whether it is for patients with high intraocular pressure or glaucoma, this product can be used to reduce elevated intraocular pressure; 6. The use of betaxolol in the eyes has minimal adverse reactions to the heart and lungs; 7. Increased intraocular pressure can easily lead to vision loss. The higher the intraocular pressure, the greater the chance of optic nerve damage and visual field loss. By measuring intraocular pressure and waterproof fluorescence detection

Indication

This product can effectively reduce intraocular pressure and is used to treat patients with chronic angle glaucoma and/or ocular hypertension. It can be used alone or in combination with other drugs that reduce intraocular pressure.

Usage and Dosage

Shake well before each use. 1. Patients should take 1-2 drops each time, twice a day. 2. If this product is not enough to control the patient's intraocular pressure, pilocarpine, epinephrine or carbonic anhydrase inhibitors can be used in combination. Special precautions: β-adrenergic receptor blockers can be absorbed systemically after topical application.
