Ingredients

Hydrogen peroxide.

Appearance

This product is a colorless, clear liquid; odorless or with an ozone-similar odor; it will rapidly decompose and produce foam when it comes into contact with oxidizing or reducing substances, and it will easily deteriorate when exposed to light.

Usage and Dosage

Clean wound with 3% solution.

Adverse Reactions

High concentrations can cause irritation and burns to the skin and mucous membranes, forming a painful "white scab". Continuous use of this product to rinse the mouth can cause hypertrophy of the tongue papillae, which is reversible. When this product solution is used for enema, when the concentration of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) is ≥0.75%, gas embolism or intestinal gangrene may occur.
