Analgin Tablets

This product is a compound of aminopyrine and sodium sulfite. It is easily soluble in water and has faster and stronger antipyretic and analgesic effects than aminopyrine.

Main ingredient: Analgin. Molecular formula: C13H16N3NaO4SH2O Molecular weight: 351.36

This product is a film-coated tablet. After removing the coating, it is brown in color and tastes bitter.

Antipyretic and analgesic. Used for fever, pain, etc.

Oral dosage for adults: 0.5-1g at a time, once when needed, up to 3 times a day. Children: 10-20mg/kg per time, 2-3 times a day.

Although this product has little irritation to the gastrointestinal tract, it can cause the following adverse reactions: ① In terms of blood, it can cause agranulocytosis, with an incidence of about 1.1%. It has an acute onset and is fatal in severe cases. It can also cause autoimmune hemolytic anemia, thrombocytopenic purpura, aplastic anemia, etc.; ② In terms of skin, it can cause allergic manifestations such as urticaria and exudative erythema. In severe cases, exfoliative dermatitis and epidermolysis may occur; ③ In individual cases, anaphylactic shock may occur, and even death may occur.

Patients with a history of allergy to this product or aminopyrine are contraindicated.

Precautions for children: Children should use with caution. The dosage can be halved as appropriate, but it must be used under adult supervision. Or follow the doctor's advice. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: Metabolites of analgin can enter breast milk. Pregnant and lactating women should not use it. Precautions for the elderly: The elderly should use this drug with caution due to decreased liver and kidney function. Elderly patients with heart disease, hypertension, diabetes, prostate hypertrophy, etc. should use it with caution.
