Shufeng Dingtong Pills

This prescription is composed of 15 herbs. This prescription is an effective medicine for treating joint pain, numbness of limbs, and traumatic injuries caused by wind, cold and dampness entering the meridians, muscle and vein discomfort, and poor circulation of qi and blood. In the prescription, Strychnos nux vomica dispels wind and cold, dredges the meridians and relieves pain as the main medicine; Ephedra, cinnamon twig, saposhnikovia divaricata, Notopterygium incisum, and Angelica dahurica dispel wind and cold, remove dampness and dredge the meridians; Millennium Jian, Difengpi, and papaya dispel rheumatism and relax the meridians; Frankincense, myrrh, natural copper, and Achyranthes bidentata promote blood circulation and remove blood stasis as the assistant medicines; Eucommia ulmoides nourishes the kidneys and strengthens the tendons and bones, and licorice harmonizes the various medicines as the adjuvant. The combination of these medicines can achieve the effects of dispelling wind and cold, removing dampness and dredges the meridians, and promoting blood circulation and relieving pain.

Flavors include strychnine (processed), ephedra, frankincense (processed with vinegar), Qiannianjian, Difengpi, cassia twig, Qianghuo, Duhuo, papaya, Achyranthes bidentata, Eucommia ulmoides (processed with salt water), etc.

This product is a large gray-black honey pill; it has a spicy, slightly bitter and sour smell.

Oral administration: 1 pill at a time, 2 times a day.
