Alverine Citrate Capsules

1. Preclinical studies have shown that alverine citrate has no potential systemic toxicity at the recommended dose. 2. Alverine citrate is an antispasmodic agent that selectively acts on the smooth muscles of the gastrointestinal tract and reproductive and urinary organs. At therapeutic doses, it does not affect the smooth muscles of the heart, blood vessels, and trachea.

Gastric and intestinal disorders caused by various reasons, irritable bowel syndrome.

1. Adults: 1-2 tablets/time, tid; children aged 8-12 years: 1 tablet/time, rid; the dosage for children under 8 years old has not yet been determined. 2. For surgical patients, medication should be started 1 hour before surgery. 3. Swallow the whole tablet.

There are almost no side effects at therapeutic doses, but if the dose is exceeded, there may be gastrointestinal discomfort, drowsiness, dizziness, weakness, headache, dry mouth or low blood pressure.

Patients with a history of intolerance or allergic reaction to alverine citrate or other ingredients in the drug should not use it.

Precautions for children: Not recommended for children under 12 years old. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: Although there are no reports of teratogenesis, it is not recommended for pregnant or lactating women unless necessary because there is no safety evidence from previous clinical trials. Precautions for the elderly: 1-2 capsules at a time, one to three times a day.
