    Silike LYSI-401 Masterbatch is a pelletized formulation with 50% ultra high molecular weight siloxane polymer dispersed in LDPE resin. It is widely used as an additive in LDPE-compatible system for improve processing properties and modify surface quality. With  0.2% to 2.0% LYSI-401, processing and flow of the resin improved, including better mold filling & mold release, less extruder torque, internal lubrication and faster throughput. At higher addition levels, 2% to 5%, improved surface properties are improved, including lubricity, slip, lower friction coefficient.
