Chemical properties: colorless oily liquid with strong floral and cherry fragrance.
Miscible with ether, soluble in methanol and ether, insoluble in water and glycerin.
Uses: Used as a solvent for cellulose esters, cellulose ethers, synthetic resins and rubbers, and as a dye aid for polyester fibers. It is used as a solvent in the microscopic analysis of perfume preparations. In 1996, it was allowed to be used as food flavor. Mainly used to prepare strawberry, raspberry Chemicalbook, pineapple, cherry, vanilla beans, nuts, rum and other flavors. The purpose is to prepare the common spices of Ylang Ylang and Tuberose. It is also used in daffodil, lavender, clove and Spanish leather fragrances. It is used in combination with rock rose products, oak moss or tree moss products and vetiver oil to match the fragrance of the lavender type. It can be used in cheap detergents, bad breath masking agents and flavors for industrial products.
